Plan A immediately turns to Plan B

The Mud Honeys (and everyone else in Ketchum and/or Idaho for that matter) have been anxiously trying to get out and ride in all of this smoke.  Saturday Susan and Miranda were planning an early morning escape over the pass to ride Fisher Creek... however, Plan A immediately changed to Plan B. Here is Susan Bernata's report.  'Miranda Stopol and I excitedly departed Hailey for the the Fischer Creek Trail. We got to the Galena overlook on the north side to an brownish to orangish smoke in the valley below. We decided that the south side was less smokey so we and made an about face and drove to Galena Lodge. We road several loops at a very easy pace. It was terrific to be out riding since it feeds our spirit. After a couple hours we decided we got our fix and retreated from the increasing smoke to ride another day.'

Also, online I read the smoke report. Still at unhealthy here in Ketchum with record temps.  The fires are extremely unfortunate... especially at the end of an already short summer. Dang it.
