Soldier Mountain ~ Fairfield, ID

A big shout out to Marc Driver (my hubs) for putting on a great race at Soldier Mountain and a special Thanks to the Ski Patrol for all of their hard work in cleaning up the wounded! Soldier course is super fun - full of technical water crossings, rutted descents and high speed trail sections ~ if you aren't alert at all times, it's easy for things to go wrong. The Ski Patrol comes out each year and they have a BBQ while we race, all the while standing guard in case something goes awry. They have 3 wheelers, 4 wheelers, amo, backboards, you name it! It's gorgeous there in the summer for a family camping trip and if you haven't skied there ~ it's pretty much a best kept secret. Check out Soldier Mountain one of these days and the local haunts of Fairfield, ID. You'll dig it.
We had 10 Mud Honeys racing and qualifying for Nationals. If you haven't qualified yet ~ find a race, QUICK! Nationals are July 4-7 here in Sun Valley, Idaho and this place will definitely blow you away.

 Marc the Promoter!
 Muffy WON the women's race!
Riding in Ketchum ~ a must do!
